Ciara

Dubbed the "First Lady of Crunk & B" by the producer who should know, Lil Jon, singer Ciara burst onto the scene with the never-gonna-get-it single "Goodies," the breathy "answer song" to Petey Pablo's "Freek-a-Leek." She was born in Austin, TX, but with her father in the Army, Ciara spent time living in Germany, New York, California, Arizona, and Nevada before landing in Atlanta.

 

In her early teens, she got a piece of paper out and wrote down her life's goal, to become a professional singer. She joined a girl group, worked on her songwriting, left the group, landed a publishing deal, and found a "music soul mate" when she met producer Jazze Pha. With Sean Garrett, the co-writer of Usher's massive hit "Yeah!," Ciara co-wrote "Goodies," and when Lil Jon heard the demo, he knew it was going to be big.

 

LaFace released the Lil Jon-produced track in the summer of 2004, and its quick climb up the charts was remarkable. With help from Pha, Garrett, and Lil Jon, Ciara released her self-titled debut in September the same year

Evangeline Lilly

She bewitched American audiences as Kate in the ABC hit television series Lost and has also appeared on the silver screen as the spokesmodel for the chat line "Livelinks" and in the TV shows Judgment Day and Kingdom Hospital. Keep an eye out for her later this year in the comedy thriller The Long Weekend.

"Every girl has got ying. My style is yang. I always have something slightly masculine about the way I dress. I like trousers better than skirts. I may wear a man's tie with a very feminine outfit, a fedora or a men's suit jacket. I don't like to wear earrings because my ears kind of stick out. I may wear a ring, or anklet, or bracelet or a necklace, but not all at once. I never want to look too perfect, too fancy, or too glamorous."

As a foreign missionary, Evangeline has traveled to over 14 countries, including the Philippines, where she lived in a grass hut in the jungle.

Diane Kruger

Diane Kruger (born Diane Heidkrüger on July 15, 1976), is a German actress and former fashion model.

Kruger made her onscreen debut in 2002 opposite Dennis Hopper and Christopher Lambert in The Piano Player, a TV-movie by Jean-Pierre Roux. She played Julie Wood in 2003's Michel Vaillant and Lisa in Wicker Park (2004), alongside Josh Hartnett and Rose Byrne. Her most notable role to date is her portrayal of Helen in Wolfgang Petersen's epic Troy. In 2004, she starred with Nicholas Cage and Sean Bean (who co-starred with her in Troy) in the popular film National Treasure, going on to appear in movies such as Joyeux Noël (2005) and Copying Beethoven (2006). She is going to return for National Treasure 2, playing the role of Abigail Chase.

Kruger married French actor Guillaume Canet on September 1, 2001. They have since filed for divorce. She is currently dating Canadian actor Joshua Jackson but she still lives in Paris.
